The ISP resources include online interactive digital learning modules, and downloadable or printable facilitator and students guides. The modules include a variety of activities and teachers can select the content that best meets the needs of the students. Student teams are provided with logins so they can participate in the 5-week for the class to participate in the Invest JA stock market simulation.

DO I NEED ACCESS TO THE INTERNET IN THE CLASSROOM?
Yes you will need access to internet to access the resources and participate in the simulation. There are some activities that can be completed offline but to benefit from the full program experience online access is necessary.
WHEN DO WE PARTICIPATE IN THE SIMULATION?
Each simulation is 6 weeks total — a 1-week practice trial plus a 5-week competition — and is offered 4x per school year.
Teams will be given a starting portfolio of $100,000 and will start to earn interest on that balance immediately. Teams (each class is allowed 30 teams) can log on any time within the competition dates to make trades on their accounts.
Schedule for 2026/2027
- Quad 1 — Trial: September 28 – October 2 · Simulation: October 5 – November 6
- Quad 2 — Trial: November 23 – 27 · Simulation: November 30 – January 15
- Quad 3 — Trial: February 16 – 19 · Simulation: February 22 – April 2
- Quad 4 — Trial: April 26 – 30 · Simulation: May 3 – June 4

CAN I USE THE CONTENT WITHOUT DOING THE SIMULATION?
Yes the content will provide students with knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about investing. Participating in the simulation is not necessary but provides students experiential learning by allowing them to apply their learning in a simulated environment.
